To make clinical trial participation easier for every participant, and, in doing so, help trials run more smoothly. 

Trial Flow exists to make clinical trials easier for participants to understand, navigate and stay engaged with. 

As trial protocols become more complex, the burden placed on participants continues to grow. More visits, procedures, information and responsibilities can make participation increasingly difficult, putting adherence, retention and ultimately trial delivery at risk. 

We believe better participant support can change that. 

Trial Flow translates complex study protocols into clear, personalized, study-specific support that helps participants and caregivers know what to expect, prepare for what’s ahead and feel supported throughout their trial journey.

From Little Journey to Trial Flow

Trial Flow is built by the team behind Little Journey. 

Little Journey was founded by Dr Chris Evans and Sophie Copley with a simple ambition: to improve healthcare experiences by better preparing and supporting patients and families. 

What began as a solution supporting children through hospital procedures has grown into a digital platform that has supported more than 50,000 participants across healthcare and clinical research. 

Working with patients, families, healthcare professionals and research teams showed us that many of the same challenges exist throughout clinical trials, but at a much greater scale and over much longer periods. 

Participants need to understand what is happening. They need to know how to prepare. They need support through challenging moments. And they need that support to reflect the specific study they have agreed to take part in. 

Trial Flow brings that experience into clinical research. 

Since then, the Little Journey solution has grown and developed, supporting thousands of families across the UK and further afield. As a company, we strive to enable all children to receive the best support possible throughout their healthcare interactions.
